Pricing 💃
Short version: publishing your events here is free. That’s the whole pricing page, really.
CHF 0.– 🎉
For organisers and for dancers. No listing fee, no commission, no “featured event” upsell, no account required. Just dance events. 🎶
Submit an eventIt costs nothing to publish 📣
Send us a flyer, a link to your event page, or just the details — it gets listed for free. We also find events automatically on organisers’ own websites, so many parties and workshops appear here without anyone doing anything at all. 🤖 If you would rather not be listed, just say so and we remove it, no hard feelings.
dancescanner.ch is a non-commercial side project. Nobody is billed, nobody’s data is sold, and there are no ads. The running costs are paid out of pocket, because a Swiss dance calendar that is actually complete is worth having. 🇨🇭
I’d like to work with you 🤝
Underneath the event listings, this is a software project: it watches organiser websites for new events, reads the details out of flyers, and keeps everything deduplicated and up to date without anyone retyping it. I enjoy that kind of work, and I’m curious to do more of it — with the people who run the scene, and with anyone who wants to build on top of it.
Things I’d find interesting to help with:
- 🏠 Running your whole operation from inside dancescanner — this is the direction I’m most curious about. Right now most schools and organisers keep their business spread across a website, a spreadsheet, a ticketing tool, a WhatsApp group and a notebook that lives in someone’s bag. 😅 I’d like to find out what it takes to bring that together in one place: your events, your courses and their participants, sign-ups and payments, attendance lists and reminders, your venues and teachers, your mailing list. If that sounds useful for your school or your party series, I’d genuinely like to hear how you work today.
- 📤 Publishing outwards — dancescanner already holds your events, cleaned up and up to date. The useful direction is out of here and into everywhere else: the event list on your own website, your Instagram and Facebook posts, a newsletter, a calendar feed people can subscribe to, a printable overview for the studio wall. Maintain the event once, instead of typing the same details into five places, and let the other channels follow.
- 🔍 Better data — if the site gets your events wrong (dates, prices, styles, duplicates), telling me exactly how is genuinely useful. That feedback is what the extraction gets tuned against.
- 💡 The site itself — ideas on what dancers actually want to see, how the map and the filters should work, what’s missing.
- ✨ Anything adjacent — if you have a process that feels like it should be automated but isn’t, I’m happy to look at it, dance-related or not.
No pitch, no price list hiding behind any of this. Just drop me a line. 🕺
